Our Vision
A Small Craft Distillery With Big Vision
As a family, we love camping and the outdoors, relaxing in nature and sitting round a camp fire with a whiskey or schnapps. In blending these passions, Dusty Barrel Distillery has looked at its carbon foot print and production methods in order to minimise our impact on the land.
As part of our Founding Membership, we will be planting on our farm an indigenous shrub or tree which will help build habitats for the Leadbeater’s Possum and the Helmeted Honeyeater Bird, both of which are on the critical endangered list and can be found on our farm. The tree planting will also offset our build of the distillery and first year production. A solar system and water treatment will follow in years two and three, with all distillation residue going towards tea composting and farm use.

Our vision is to establish a highly regarded distillery in Maccelsfield Victoria, whose products will be sold in Australia and around the world.
Our Aim
Our aim is to produce unique handcrafted spirits from locally sourced fruit and grains. By buying and employing locally, we will reduce our carbon foot print and support the local community for the long term.
Founders Membership

Every new membership enables another tree to be planted on the property, reducing our carbon foot print.

Free New Make Spirit
Bottle of New Make Spirit (500 ml), within the first nine months of distilling.
Free Founder's Whiskey
Bottle of Founder’s Whiskey (500 ml) within 24 – 36 months of first distilling. Whiskey will be non-chilled filtered to experience the full flavour profile of the whiskey.
